Aktivis Islam rancang adakan demonstrasi

1.Point 1: Religion
While there was no objection to Islam being the national religion of Malaysia there should be no State religion in North Borneo, and the provisions relating to Islam in the present Constitution of Malaya should not apply to North Borneo

2.Christians and Muslims sometimes misunderstand Allah to be purely Islamic. Instead, it is the Arabic word for God and a close semantic relative of the Hebrew El. In many Central Asian countries, Muslims use Khuda, the Persian word for God, rather than Allah. Christians in Palestine and other Arabic-speaking communities also refer to God as Allah.

3.The term spread to Southeast Asia in the 1100s as Muslim sultanates were established. It then became incorporated into the Malay language family, which includes Malaysian and Indonesian.

4.Christians have used the word for centuries, and the conflict is not new. A Wycliffe translator who has been in the region for several years said this debate began when the first Bible was published in Malay, using Allah, in 1985.

5.This  indicates “the country is moving away from the multireligious and multiethnic composition that negotiated independence from the British to a domination of one race over all.”

6.There is no use of staging a demonstration as it will lead to POTENTIAL serious backlashes and the protest itself is a contempt of Court Decision

7.We cant afford to EXPERIENCE another Racial Riot(May 16th 1969)

8.This is where the POLITICAL WISDOM played a very important roles to deal with the issue WISELY

9.It should be a Win-Win situation for both side in the end of the day, otherwise it might PROLONG the issue rather than SOLVING it

10.This is where the 1Malaysia Concept should be CONCEPTUALISED so that it will DISMISSED the RHETORICS and POLEMICS critics agaisnt it.If the Government FAILED to project this image, they better buckle up their seatbelt and brace for the IMPACT in the next General Election

  1. I do not see how used word of Allah can affect Islam religion & their fait. Further more herald publication is only for the Catholic Church & the followers.

    1. The church not or never selling it to the Muslim.
    2. The note is written on the front cover of herald “NOT FOR MUSLIM” by reading this word I
believed that the Muslim understood the meaning.

It is very clear that the publication of herald never have any intension to be published to the Muslim, so what is the problem to use word Allah. Allah is universal; don’t they know that Allah/God is only one? What is the rational they want to have the demonstration to protest the High court decision to allow the herald publication to use word Allah as translation of God?

From what we can see, their act is CONTEMPT OF THE COURT DECISION. If any other, citizen doing this for sure the government will act or probably government will put them in ISA detention centre. They are the one who instigated the social harmony & peace. What is happening now the government just sits down, wait and see. There is no sign of the government try to control the situation from becoming worst.
